"I was very impressed with your organizational abilities which, for a "first ever" conference were truly remarkable."

Jeffrey A. Silver
Shareholder & Chairman of Gaming and Administrative Law Department
Gordon & Silver Ltd.

"<…> we are very impressed as we see the Bulgarian delegation appearing in conferences we see Bulgarian companies now coming to Las Vegas for G2E. I have read the Bulgarian law that is out there and we’ve talked about amendments. Bulgaria deserves a lot of credits for trying to come in to the international community, to raise the profile of the country, to raise the profile of the regulation. Clearly I think Eastern Europe is growing…<…> this conference is essentially a tribute to reaching out to the international community and that’s why Spectrum Gaming was very pleased to participate in this and looks forward to participation in the future years and we do see good things happening here."

Fredric Gushin, Managing Partner /Spectrum Gaming Group/

Q. <…> here, in Bulgaria, we do realize that tourism and services is an important part of economy and from the gaming business we do want to take the initiative together with tourism industries to go ahead and approach model that could be beneficial for both industries. "What could be a model for Bulgaria?"

Rossi McKee, Vice President /Casino Technology/

A. <…>"The model is not Las Vegas, but the model is not Las Vegas almost anywhere in the world. The reason Macau can evolve like Las Vegas did and they’re doing it like 20 times faster than we did in Las Vegas is because of proximity and exclusivity of the Chinese market, much like I said California helped Las Vegas grow in the early days and stages of it. For Bulgaria, for almost all the Eastern Europe for other jurisdictions you have to have a combination of an enterprise reactivity that’s suitable and regulative for local participation and to be an adjunct to the tourism component of your visitors."

Bob Miller Chairman, Vice President /International Association of Gaming Advisers (IAGA)/

Q. <…> do you think that Bulgaria is ready for its good first impression?

Nadia Hristova, Member of the Management Board /BTAMOGI/

...

A. "<…> I think that the evolution in Bulgaria has been reasonable. When I first came here 10 years ago… I think it would have been difficult to have a conference such as this that the gaming community was more limited and was newer and was not as accepted as it is now. This conference and this excitability and this participation are very strong evidence that it process correctly in last several years. The attendance of your regulators participation the last two years at the International Association of Gaming Regulators is an indication of the correct procedure, to kind of interact with your counterparts from throughout the world and learn best practices. I think that’s a maturation of the industry here, in Bulgaria. And I think it takes time. It took time in Nevada."

Bob Miller Chairman, Vice President /International Association of Gaming Advisers (IAGA)/

"I am rather a seasoned gaming show and conference attendee having attended many over the course of my 7 years in this industry and in all that time I have never attended a new show that impressed me by the expertise of the management, visitor numbers and quality and number of exhibitors. In many ways it was a show that looked as if it had been established for many years."
