BTAMOGI attended European Gambling Briefing
The 2009 European Gambling Briefing, held on 23-24 April in Budapest, Hungary gained governments, regulators, gaming operators, legal counsels and lawyers to speak and discuss the issues affecting the gaming sector all across the European Union on commercial and legal basis. Topics were referred to Schaldemose report and the Liberalization Bill going through France, additionally drawing up the issues for the future of legislation from the countries as The Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Italy.
After the presentation focused on the promising and opening markets on the Eastern Europe and the Balkans, comments from the audience were that it would be good the regulators from Eastern European countries to come to the table and to meet operators, to get involved in discussions and to build up the picture of what is the regulatory position around the Europe.
Session presented was a result of the report made by consultancy MECN and moderated by Nadia Hristova, Member of the Management Board /the Bulgarian Trade Association of the Manufacturers and Operators in the Gaming Industry/.
