He joined the Olympic Entertainment Group in late 2006 as Chief Expansion Officer primarily responsible for the expansion of the Group into new markets. Before joining the Group was employed as CEO of Casino Cosmopol, a subsidiary of state owned Svenska Spel. Main responsibilities at Casino Cosmopol were to establish a new casino chain from scratch. At the same time was actively involved in setting up the European Casino Association (ECA) and was its Chairman in 2005/2006.
Before joining the casino business, was employed for almost 14 years within the Volvo Group, half of which time as a corporate lawyer and during the last 7 years as country and later Business Area Director.

The Bulgarian Association of Entertainment and Gambling (BAEG) is the major not-for-profit organization, connected with gambling business in Bulgaria and include all legal gambling activities. Most of the members of BAEG are owners of life casinos, bingo clubs and playing rooms as well as manufacturers, distributors and their services. Members of BAEG are also bookmaker houses on sports events and organizers of bets on random events. BAEG was established in 1999 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Mr. Tilley began his career in London, England, in the mid 70’s, working for Victoria Sporting Club and the Playboy Club. In 1979 he moved to the United States to work for Atlantic Associates Ltd., then, the largest casino concessionaire in the world.
For the next 15 years he worked as President, COO, and CEO of different casino concessionaire companies. For the past 12 years Mr. Tilley has focused his interests in the international markets, specifically emerging markets.
Currently Mr Tilley is developing more projects in Venezuela as well as slot parlors/casinos in Mexico and Columbia. Mr. Tilley holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Miami.

DEREK RUSSAN, R&D Director /Casino Technology/

Joined Casino Technology in 2004 to open the UK office and represent the interests of Casino Technology with both Customers and Suppliers in UK and Western Europe. In 2006 he broke new ground for the company becoming the first non-bulgarian to become a senior manager taking the position of R&D Director (becoming a member of the board of directors in 2008). With nearly 25 involvement in gaming he is very experienced in the technical aspects of slot machines. Trained as an electronics engineer Derek learned his profession with some major multinational companies including Xerox, Thorn EMI and Decca. Immediately before joining Casino Technology Derek gained wide exposure to the gaming industry as a senior manager with a specialist electronic control board supplier.

He worked in National Customs Agency. Since 2005 was a chief of law department and from 2006 representative of Commission in State Commission of Gambling.

EDUARDO ANTOJA, Honorary President /EUROMAT/

Was born in Barcelona in Spain. Graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in 1969, 1971 - 1976 staged as a part time Associate Professor.
Since 1979 worked in AMP Inc. (now Tyco Electronics) in the Engineering and Marketing areas. 1990 joined CIRSA to head its Manufacturing Division. In 1998 he was appointed Director of Corporate Development with the aim of expanding the holding international operations and elected as a President of FACOMARE, the Spanish Manufacturers Association. Since May 1999 he is also Honorary President of EUROMAT, European Federation of Coin Machine Associations, based in Brussels. Languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish and Catalan.

ERHAN ERSAN (Operations manager / Liberty Gaming)

Erhan Ersan is recently assigned as the operations manager for Liberty Gaming Group participation base slot operations, and casino operations. He has started his Casino career in 1984in Istanbul Turkey, and following two years of cruise ship experience he was back in Turkey till the closure of Casinos. He held casino managers position through 1989-1998 with a local company, and his next stop was Turkish republic of northern Cyprus, after the closure of casinos in Turkey. Here he has successfully opened and operated three casinos and recently decided to work with Liberty Gaming where he will be in charge of casino operations in Georgia which will be in operation by the end of July 2008.

ERIC VAN VONDELEN, Secretary /Gaming Regulators European Forum (GREF)/

Eric van Vondelen serves as secretary to the Netherlands gaming control board since its establishment in 1996 and is a member of the Executive Board of the Gaming Regulators European Forum (GREF) and is involved since its establishment. Prior to this, he held a number of positions in the Netherlands Department of Justice. He also is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Association for the Study of Gambling (EASG) and for a couple of years he used to be a member of the Steering Committee of the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR). He holds a Masters of Law Degree from Erasmus University in Rotterdam.

The known publicist in the field of legal regulation of a gaming, the author and the co-author of many books devoted to the history of a gaming and its legislative regulation of gambling business. Last books "" the Gaming in Russia: legislative regulation "", “Legal regulation of gambling business in foreign countries”, (conjointly with Sergey Kovalev) and "" Legal regulation of a gaming in Ukraine and in foreign countries"" were recognized not only in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, but also in foreign countries. Frank Legato is editor of the international trade journal Global Gaming Business. He has been writing on gaming topics since 1984. Prior to his current position, he was founding editor of the trade journal Casino Gaming and as an editor for Casino Journal, Casino Player and strictly Slots. Legato is the author of How to Win Millions Playing Slot Machines…or Lose Trying, published by Bonus books; and of Atlantic City: In Living Color, published by Indigo Custom Publishing. Fred Gushin is the managing director of Spectrum Gaming Group. GORAN BRKIC, President /Croatian Amusement & Music Operators Association (UPZI)/

Established in 1999, UPZI contained members only from the constituing parties – roughly 20 small organizer companies. The amount of members gradually grew to be 150 at the moment. It enabled from the very beginning joint efforts in relations to government, and worked towards more legal operations. It also tried to cope with authorities as one united force. Association provides information services to its members, as well as additional discounts in taxes paid to other bodies. It is the only society of a kind at the moment and is one of the most important entities in Croatian amusement industry. The board of UPZI is consisted of seven members.

Henry has been in the industry for over 20 years. Beginning at Aristocrat, he initially worked in various positions at the corporate office in Sydney, Australia. He managed the UK office and business, and was promoted to Managing Director of the EMEA region. He was instrumental in bringing to the market such video style products as Hyperlink™, Reel Power and DSAP. Henry’s current responsibilities include the management of Orion sales related to the recently launched N-Able™ platform and Twinstar™ II cabinet, as well as the new library of Orion Deluxe™, Line Plus™ and Anyway™ games.

A lawyer since 1989 represents cases before the Supreme Court of Greece. She is working on casino matters for around 8 years now, representing about 10 foreign companies before the competent Casino Directorate of the Ministry of Tourism and the Supervisions Board of Casinos in Greece. Together with Dr. George Sinanides leads the law firm "Sinanides and Sinanides Law Firm". JANJA JEREB (Inspector – Councilor, a Head of Legal Service / State Office for Gaming Supervision)

Inspector – Councilor, is a Head of Legal Service at the Slovene State Office for Gaming Supervision. She joined this office in 1999, immediately after she had graduated from the Law Faculty at the University of Ljubljana. She passed the professional exam for public administration in 2000 and the jurisdictional exam in 2002.
Her scope of work encompasses gaming supervision and all aspects of gaming legislation, including drafting of new legislation/regulations, preparing legal opinions from the field of gaming and decisions from the office’s competency. She is also responsible for all legal matters of the office and its international cooperation.

As a Chairman of the Gaming and Administrative Law Department of Gordon Silver, he has been involved in every aspect of gaming, licensing and regulatory law. Former resident Member in charge of Las Vegas office for the Nevada State Gaming Control Board during the State’s tumultuous period of developing regulatory oversight. He has held executive positions at various resort hotels. He formerly served as a Trustee and President of the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA). Karen Blumenfeld is an attorney specializing in emerging trends in tobacco control. She serves as Executive Director, and Director of the Policy and Legal Resource Center, of New Jersey GASP, a 35 year old nonprofit organization, based in the USA. She provides technical assistance to governments, policymakers, industry, advocates and the public-at-large, on smoke-free issues, and is a globally recognized expert on smoke-free gaming trends. Laurent Gaubout is the Commercial Operations Manager for WMS International based in Barcelona. LAVRENTY GUBIN, Chief /Responsible Gaming Fund/, Public Relations Director /Storm International/

Started his career in gaming business as PR Manager of Storm International in 2004. In 2007 was promoted to a position of PR director. During the year 2006 was responsible for realization of the Responsible Gaming Program of Storm International what resulted in creation of a separate non-profit organization – Responsible Gaming Fund. Since that time fulfils the duties of the Fund’s chief. Being the only of a kind in Russia, sponsored by Moscow gaming enterprises, the Responsible Gaming Fund sets as its main mission an activity on developing responsible and socially acceptable attitude to gambling, as well as work on reducing social and other risks associated with gambling.

Mr. Platzer carries out the direction of operations of the Korston group, manages and guides the daily operations of the Group main business units.
Since 2001 he is a General Manager of the Orlyonok Hotel Complex. Being in Russia since 1993 he participated in the transformation and formation of the modern hospitality industry in Russia. In 1996 he was part of the opening and operating team for the Art Hotel. Lead the operations of the first 5-star hotel in the Urals, The Atrium Palace Hotel and World Trade Center in Ekaterinburg. Supervised and operated Maritim Park Hotel in Riga, which subsequently has transferred to the German hotel corporation Maritim.

Association provides information services to its members, as well as additional discounts in taxes paid to other bodies. It is the only society of a kind at the moment and is one of the most important entities in Croatian amusement industry. The board of UPZI is consisted of seven members.

Michael started his casino career as a dealer in Charlie Chester’s casino in London and subsequently worked in various casinos in different countries. Michael opened casinos in Kiev, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk and St. Petersburg as well as one in Venezuela and another in Tunisia. However the focus became the business in Moscow where Storm International now has 5 casinos. Under Michael's leadership company has expanded into other countries including Armenia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Germany and India. Michael’s responsibilities include strategic decisions, overall management, policy & procedures, design implementation and approval, partner issues, investment control, integrity of all departments and business development.

M. Sigona has been in the touch industry for over 20 years. He started on the technical side, developing the world's first mouse emulation driver for touch screens. Currently Mr. Sigona is focused on developing emerging markets for Elo, and is still active in gaming. Born in New York, he has been living in Europe for more than 10 years.

Founder and president of Jakta - association of gaming organizers, authorized servicers and producers of gaming equipment in Serbia. For thirteen years worked as a general manager in “Fun Casino”, and in 2002 became a founder and since then expand capacity for 70 % and enlarged capital and value of the company more then 6 hundred percent. Manager and Public Relation manager in companies “V. Electronic” trade company and import – export firm “Interexport”. She worked in “Deal engineering” – in researching and ranking values of registrated capital. Three years in “JAT” (Yugoslav Aero transport.) Journalist experience in “Borba”, the leading newspaper office in Serbia.

GLI’s Senior Director of International Operations and currently General Manager of GLI Africa, Director of Operations for GLI Europe B.V. and Direttore of GLI Italia. Since 1994 extensively involved in GLI’s international offices, and was instrumental in the start-up and management. He has worked with Gaming Regulators in the preparation of regulatory and technical requirements documentation used in jurisdictions in Australia, South Africa and Europe.
Farrell was also instrumental in implementing quality assurance on all GLI/GTEST testing, and in the creation of Gaming Device Standards. Wrote the Standards and consulted on various gaming machine standards for South Australia, New Zealand, and other international jurisdictions.
